Look who was waiting at my back door this morning, she or he was glittering in the sun, I thought someone has started decorating my back door for Christmas... but no, it was much better than that!
Isn't it amazing, all the detail in this dragonfly is wonderful. I've given up searching online to see what it is called, there must be 1,000's of different dragonflies!

So while I was outside with my camera I just can't help myself :-)
Our old copper is looking really lovely with these overflowing plants.
Forgotten what this rose is called but I will remember soon....
I think these are my favourite flowers.

Photo a Day Challenge - 4.1.2014 - I hear...
Cicada's or to be politically correct Cyclochila Australasiae, or what we called them as kids... Green Crocers, the most common in our area not that I actually look for them these days but they sure do make a loud noise which I love, brings back wonderful memories of childhood, of searching them out, of the joy of finding one and the special excitement if someone found a Black Prince!

... it's a moth hanging onto the flyscreen outside my office window... the underside of a moth!
Then I had to go outside to show you the other side of this moth :-) I couldn't get such a good photo as the one above and I'm very busy and important this morning so I shouldn't be wasting time taking photos of MOTHS!!!
