It's SILVER today, Happy Anniversary to our Nerys and Tim.

Nerys and Tim met in the USA while they were both travelling around with friends, Tim asked Nerys to look him up when she got to the UK which she did but refused his request to marry at first request, it wasn't until Tim discovered that David and I had married at the Guildford Registry Office and he asked Nerys to marry him at the same place that she said Yes! We couldn't make it to the UK to see them marry because of family commitments in Aus but Tim's family were there as well as Nerys' Uncle Nick and family plus a couple of her Aussie and UK friends.

Took our first trip outside Sydney yesterday to meet up with our Canberra family at Bowral which is almost exactly halfway, wonderful idea and day.

David made this brilliant and beautiful motor boat when he was a teen, so it has to be at least 65 years oold... we were hoping to put it to work in a pond nearby but the weather was just a tad too wet. Fabulous lunch at a French Restaurant called the 'Bowral Brasserie' they served... Escarcots! Seriously yummy! Going back there sometime soon.
