Photo a Day Challenge - 4.1.2014 - I hear...

Cicada's or to be politically correct Cyclochila Australasiae, or what we called them as kids... Green Crocers, the most common in our area not that I actually look for them these days but they sure do make a loud noise which I love, brings back wonderful memories of childhood, of searching them out, of the joy of finding one and the special excitement if someone found a Black Prince!

Actually I think he might be a split - 1/2 Yellow Monday. Green Grocers were much greener - in my memory.
