We just enjoyed an after School visit from two boys.
Charlie played Soccer against Nerys' old Primary school, they played up at our local Oval so we were invited to watch Charlie's game. His School won 4/1 and he scored two goals. WELL DONE Charlie!
Jackson popped in when his school finished for the day and he showed us his new School Tie! Very smart Jacko, no wonder the girls are swooning. BTW Tucking ones shirt in... just isn't the fashion.
We enjoyed some of David's Lime Syrup Cake while Charlie showed us some of his favourite TV show which is called the 'Odd Squad'.
The reason he bought up this show was because I was telling him what my favourite books were at his age... 'Secret Seven' and the 'Famous Five'.

Here's something you may not have known about, my mini Babushka Collection! Some of these Babushka's are 10 dolls, others 5 dolls, some 3 dolls and some just themselves, such as the spinning babushka top left, also the key rings second shelf from bottom and of course the broaches! Most of these Babushka's were gifts from family or friends :-) how lovely is that!
I am loving hearing about the way people deal with 'Cold Callers', I've had some fun myself as well as some screaming rants at them... so this is what the girl got today.

Mealtimes are a little pathetic around here at the moment.
This was today's Breakfast, but thanks to one of these little tablets, can't remember which one now... breakfast stayed just where I put it :-) this is a big change from the last 3/4 days when whatever I ate reappeared in a different form not long after, I'm about to try my lunchtime medication plus some more food... daring I know but I've just got to give it a go don't I!
Friends... how wonderful are Friends eh! I've had to miss a lot of planned lunches, get togethers and so on for weeks now, this Pennie is not happy! Lots of lovely friends and family have been coming around and listening to my moaning and so on but these friends, who I meet once a month at the Penno Pub, sent along my favourite lunch... Duck Pancakes! Yummy! The Pennant Hills Hotel do make wonderful Duck Pancakes! Needless to say, I managed one mouthful and David enjoyed the rest :-) Thanks Jill and Lynne the thought tasted much better this time :-)
Gwil asked me to scan some photos taken when he was Remy's age :-) so sweet, he and his older siblings were... are still!

Then we headed off to Macquarie Park Cemetery, to clean up my Ghost's Grave.
All looks a bit sad doesn't it.
I scrubbed the headstone with a Soap Pad, and David put some of his precious compost and soil in the gap, then planted some plants that were growing at our home which was once the home of my Ghost, John Witter.
Looks better doesn't it.
Tired and hungry we enjoyed these three Entree's and a big bottle of sparkling water at Kiplings Garage Bar, right at Turramurra Station.
Briony asked me to find some old photos of her as a kid, so I started scanning photos from around 2 years old, about James' age and couldn't stop :-) Too too Sweet!
