I am very naughty I know... but who could resist this beautiful Water Dragon... I don't feed her every day but I had a couple of over ripe blackberries so I gave them to her instead of the worms.

No no no... no matter how cute you are little possum... you can not come in!

So proud of our Jackson Harry...

Voted by his class mates as Class Captain for his Year 7 Class.   Well done Jacko :-)

Dreadful photo but my camera has died and I rarely take photos with my iPhone.

It's gonna happen... at last...

The base stuff has arrived!  it will go under the bricks where that trench in the background is... we had to replace the sewerage pipes many many months ago, so now the earth has settled down and Rob is coming next week to relay the bricks.    The trench goes from the garage to the front door...    Hip Hip Hooray... no more mud to try and step over.

And our little friend is still around, I've very naughtily started giving him the odd grape which he loves so now every day he comes looking for me... I won't feed him everyday, I don't want him to become dependent on me of course but it is fun to see him gobble up the odd grape or blueberry.

Yesterday he climbed the tree outside my sewing room and peered in at me!

Emma sent me these photos which were sent to her by someone else... I had to search hard because all the performers have a lot of make up on but I think I found all three of my Macao Grandchildren :-)

Panic is over....

Last Wednesday...  I had a boys look and couldn't find them...  I panicked and asked David to have a look... he said he may have thrown them out... I panicked again and asked if David had had a look... not yet...  I emailed the children in case they'd borrowed them... none of them had... I asked David if he'd had a look yet...  not yet...  I pushed him to go and have a look...  so he had a Girls look and... here they are!!!

David and I grew up with parents and grandparents saying things such as...   'That looks like a Heath Robinson...' when something was a bit dodgy, so when I found these books way back in 1977 while we were living in England for the second time... I bought them for David's birthday.  We also have two big posters that you may have seen hanging in our Kitchen.

So we grew up loving Heath Robinson... our children have also grown up loving Heath Robinson... and it surprises me when I meet people who have never heard of him!

Do you know of Heath Robinson????

Just stole some photos from Face Book of DSIL1's proud proud day!

 In Tim's own words...
'Proud dad moment. Me at mid-on, Jackson at mid-wicket and Charlie at fine-leg! Plus we bowled out the opposition twice to gain outright points!'

Face Timing in Macao

It's my fault... as soon as I say I want to get a Grab Photo of my beautiful TEAM-G this is what happens...
Mmmm...  better or worse than the first photo???

Mmmm... much worse than the first one...

Huh!  I'm not doing well am I!

Not even getting one from the big boy...  father of AM-G...  responsible Creative Director...
Oh well... I give up, we did have lots of fun, I got a good laugh and the three children are so chatty now that they are getting older... Wonderful stuff.

The trouble with trying to get a good grab photo without letting them know I would like one, is that they are moving around all the time and if I try to get the Grab quickly I sometimes loose the connection!

Soccer season is about to start around here...

Last Saturday, two year old Remy joined 'Little Kickers' check it out it sounds the most wonderful way to get little people interested in sport and help with their motor skills.  Gwil and Em told me he loved it and listened carefully and did just what the instructor told him to do.   What fun.

Practicing after the lesson  :-)

Charlie signed up yesterday, I haven't heard what team he got into but he had high hopes.   And I don't have any photos... wish I did... but...

Last Saturday, after Jack and Charlie had played their games of Cricket they went along to watch their father play... Tim's team was down a couple of players so guess what?   Jack and Charlie joined Tim's team and they Won!!   You should have seen Tim after the game, such a proud father, a dream come true... playing Cricket with his boys  :-)    Jack and Charlie slept over while their parents went off to a friends 50th!!!!!  They have friends turning 50!  Wow!

Photo a Day Challenge - 23.2.2015 - Fix

Oh dear, oh deary deary meeeee.....  woe is meeee...  woe is meeee...  how could I be so silly!  The boys were in the pool and I was looking after Remy beside the pool, we both put our feet in the water and sat on the step, I was holding onto him with one hand when my lovely little camera fell out of my pocket and into the water!!!!

David was a trouper and tried to dry it out for me but... it just won't open now and I can't take photos... oh woe is me... I love this little camera!  and I just can't live without it.   I will try sending it to Olympus and see if they can fix it but I might be getting a name there, this is the second camera I've done something silly to... fingers crossed!

Photo a Day Challenge 21.2.2015 = Matching.

I knitted this Aran Jumper for David for his 25th Birthday, he was in England at the time.   I liked it so much I knitted one for myself.   These old photos were taken at Buckland Abbey in Devon, once the home of Sir Francis Drake, then many years later the home of Captain Arthur Rodd, one of my very distant relatives, we were given a private tour by Arthur's sister, Aunt Fanny as it was winter and the Abbey was closed.  I do have photos of us together wearing our matching jumpers but you can't see the pattern very well in those.

My favourite sort of phone message...

Every quarter we get a similar message telling us that all the Electricity we used last quarter is paid up and there was money left over from what the sun made with our Solar Panels!  Brilliant I say, just Brilliant!
