Oh yes indeedy I've found more tins, what the heck! I certainly haven't gone out there looking for tins for a Collection, this has just happened!

Some of these tins do have stuff in them, quilting related stuff such as safety pins and so on, there's one wooden box there as well.  Oh and this large tin below... that's another 16 to add to the 48 I've found before and this isn't counting all the big tins I have in the Larder which hold foods...   and yes, you can still buy chocolate in these tins from Big W, I just did a Google.

More Lockdown Magic!

Remember this photo I put on my Blog on the 18th I think it was... well less than a week later!  

As if by Magic... Ta Da!



Who knew I had so many Tins!!  Just did a count from these photos... 48!  Never throw anything out by the look of it!

I still have plenty of fabric... oh gollygoshgeewillkens...is that another few tins in that top basket?    I think it is 😀
My next Lockdown mending chore will be to fix those ball lights so the balls don't keep falling off their lights.

50 Years today, 50 Years today, we got the key to the door never lived anywhere for 50 years before


 We will party big time on our 51st!

I've lived in, for more than 6 months or so, about 25 homes and attended 13 different schools in my life time.

50 Years on this very day we moved into our first real family home.

Helping us move was our long time friend Neill and friend Sally.

David drove his Falcon and I drove our London Taxi
Here is our home, it was first built in 1930.  We moved in on this day in 1971 and enjoyed living here for 10 years (not counting the two years we spent overseas)  by 1980 and with four beautiful children this old home was just too small plus it had a major problem with white ants soo... our larger home was built behind and this home pulled down, we kept all the doors, the bath and the light fittings which are in our 'new' home.


Our first double decker bus arrived in 1972 and was stuck here in mud for many months.

We Escaped yesterday and had a lovely Picnic down at Bobbin Head with Nerys and Tim.


 So lovely it was - until the bush fire smoke became a tad worrying then vicious winds and on the way home a little rain.  This is the first time we've been able to see and touch some of our family for many many months!
