Made some soup today, actually I should say... Made lots of Soups today :-)

 One of my very favourites... Pumpkin and Coconut Soup.

Haven't made this one for several years... Bulgarian Sour Lamb Soup.

All ready for the Freezer!  Delicious.

David made Onion Soup... not my sort of thing but it does smell very oniony.

Celebrating our 51st Wedding Anniversary a day early this year, David will be driving his big Red Bus in the City tomorrow for the Transport Heritage Weekend.

 We had to go back to the first restaurant we ever enjoyed way back in 1967, just before David left for his trip to England.  Barrenjoey House at Palm Beach.  I really enjoyed the Scallops on a mash of Sweet Corn and Truffle  Wow!  with a touch of Cavair on top.  David enjoyed a small loaf of home baked bread, I enjoyed a bite and I did share one of my scallops, there were four.

Then I chose the Lamb Cutlets which were delicious but FOUR cutlets!  Never had that many before, Yum! with potatoes and something creamy with Pistachio Nuts.

David enjoyed his Chicken Breast with some greens.

Thankfully we shared this enormous Dessert which was Peanut Butter Parfait with Chocolate Chip Ice Cream.

 Beautiful Pittwater even with some rain and below... Franjipani's still in flower!

I love making these little Raggy Quilts, this one is for our dear friends Ken and Celi's first Grandchild.

Just one metre each of two different flannel fabrics and half a days sewing with the evening spent clipping clipping clipping all the open seams, then a wash and dry in the dryer and here it is, the most cuddly little quilt for George Matthis Moroney the first grandchild of my dear friend Ken who I met at Wollogorang more than 54 years ago.  Oh and a little dolly I knitted as well.
