But don't worry about me... I will be busy for a few days to come... you know there is a lot to do when you can actually see the dirty linen from the top of the Laundry Shute!

When is it a good time to hold a PARTY! When your baby brother arrives in Australia and just before TEAM-G leave Australia... That's When! This year there was only day we could Party and that was Last Sunday!

The Sun was shining, the cousins came from the North and the South and it was an absolutely lovely day.

Lots of Tom's friends came as well bringing all their children... I think there must have been about 1/3rd kids and 2/3rd's adults of the almost 90 guests.

Some of our friends came a well...

Cars to the right of us...

... cars to the left of us.

Slightly silly people were even allowed in as well  :-)

 Aaahhh...

What beautiful little boys are these... the two on the right are my second cousins!   I think that's right, their Grandmother is my cousin, their mother is my first cousin once removed... making them my second cousins.

With their Mummy and Daddy and Aunt.

At last my niece Hayley picked up her promised quilt.

This is my Brother Tim... Tim Rodd!  Timothy Ripley Rodd... just in case you wanted to know  :-)

Aaahhh... that's better, my lovely brother Tim with my even lovelier niece Hayley.

 Very dear friend Ron :-)

This man has very funny shoes...

It's getting late but there are still some lovely rellos chatting away.

My beautiful Jackson Harry!  with my beautiful Abigail Rose checking out the table in the right.

My cousin Andrew and family and the man with the funny shoes!  :-)

Kris Kringle Gift Giver Winner for 2013! is... Gwilym Griffiths!

Alda, our lovely next door neighbour, sorts our Kris Kringle out each year which means none of us know who is buying for who.  We are allowed up to 3 suggestions or hints of something we would really really like which gives the Giver an idea of what to buy... or... if you are like Tomos you can just say... 'A Surprise'.    This year we had a $50 limit spend.

Gwilym had to buy Tom's 'Surprise' Kris Kringle and he bought Tomos a Scottish Title... So I would like to introduce you to...

Lord Tomos Griffiths of Glencoe Wood.

Lord Tomos also owns one square foot of land in the the Glencoe Wood Nature Reserve, and is able to not only visit his land but buy more around it if he so chooses... I think he chooses  :-)

It's a very beautiful part of the world isn't it!

Christmas Morning!

Christmas Eve and the Stockings are out with Letters to Santa, some Peanut Butter Cookies, a Tim Tam and some milk...  Oats have been spread on the lawn for the Reindeer as well.

Pennie was first up on Christmas morning and was thrilled to see that Santa had been on a visit... but she didn't touch a thing!

Pennie put the enormous Leg of Pickled Pork in the Kamado at 6:30am, it needs at least 7 hours of slow smoking to turn it into the most delicious and most juicy warm leg of ham.

A couple of hours later the Turkey Buffe stuffed with Cherries, Cranberries with herbs and spices and wrapped in Pancetta went into the second Kamado.

Then at last the three Children were up and ready to see what Santa had left them.

One of the things Santa had put in their stockings was ... I don't know what it was actually but the kids watched in anticipation as one by one their 'things' turned the water an orange colour then...
... the water foamed up and up... till eventually!  One baby Dinosaur and two baby Fairies floated to the top of the water  :-)

The rest of the family arrived and it was time to eat...
 Yummo!!!

Double Yummo... actually it was Tripple Yummo... you can't see the Violet Crumble Bar Ice Cream Cake in this photo.
