You know when you just have to get up off your chair and dance like your life depended on it!

Here I am Dancing to one of my very old favourite songs from my early teens... we did live near the beach back in 1961... Gawrd, I was only 16 when this came out    :-)

Richard Fidler played it after his 'Conversations' today with some guy who's name I've forgotten already.

David kindly took some photos for you all to enjoy!!!!!!

Are you dancing yet??  Come on I dare you :-)

This is a first!

We do lose a lot of balls into our garden, they get lost in the Ficus on the brick wall or they go into the garden next door... but this is a first that's for sure!

So who hit this ball into our blinds?  It was Val!

Now lets talk LEGO!!

When my boys stopped playing with Lego I spent days and days sorting through it, putting all the patterns into a folder and making as many of the models as I could, there was a Double Decker Bus, a Train with Carriages and Track that ran on a battery, there was the Spirit of St Louis, there was a Shell Service Station and many many other wonderful things.

I was so relieved to get it off the floor, I packed it all up and put it away in the Loft... until Jackson arrived and we were so excited to be able to bring out this enormous amount of Lego to play with... but... he wanted to pull those precious things to bits... he wanted to actually 'build' with it and do what kids do with Lego!  All my work all those years ago was now back on the floor and in pieces!!!  But every time he and then Charlie came around we got the Lego out and they had a ball.

In the meantime Jack and Charlie have an enormous amount of Lego and love playing with it as well so 'my' Lego wasn't as interesting as the Computer was each time they visited so I sort of re packed it and put it upstairs for when they asked to play with it.

The other day when visiting Jack and Charlies home Nerys told us that she had spent a whole day packing up Lego into plastic bags...  Like Mother like Daughter eh!  :-)

I had to take photos of Nerys Lego... or should I say Jack and Charlies Lego  :-)

So then I had to take a photo of 'My' Lego...

Photo a Day Challenge - 26.5.2014 - Pet.

I'm not a domestic pet sort of person, animals in the house are not my thing.  But I do love Animals and I like my pets native and roaming free, this little chap has been with us for ages, very cheeky and quite daring and hilarious to watch running  :-)

This old thing... is finished and given away at LAST!

I started it about 15 years ago, all hand pieced but I was so over it about 10 years ago  :-)  But I don't like having any UFO's (Unfinished Objects)... so a few months handwork and here is it.  I've just given it to a friend who is giving it to Shine, a Charity I'd never heard of but I'm happy to support.

My friend Emma Smith quilted it for me.

Check out... Shine!

Let the Truth be told!

Remember this post...

http://penniedarling.blogspot.com.au/2014/05/just-check-our-our-mandy-tree.html

Well I put that post up on my Blog because my friend of 68 years, Miss Smurray, was quite doubtful that my little Mandy Tree could produce the five Mandy's that it did, she peered at me directly and asked if they were actually MY Mandy's!   Well!!!  Of course they were...

... Now that got me going...  and luckily my dear friend Mavis came to the rescue!  Mavis took some photos of her over flowing Mandy tree and sent them to me to put up in that earlier post.  Mavis had already indicated that she would be bringing a basket full of Mandy's to Tennis this week for us to share around.

So today, Mavis true to her word bought her basket of Mandy's and we shared them out... so here is a photo of 'Our' Mandy's!

Poor Smurray couldn't make it to tennis this week so she had to miss out...  Poor Smurray!
