Some of our family were able to enjoy a delish meal at Nerys and Tim's yesterday afternoon, celebrating three April Birthdays.

The afternoon sky was so beautiful.
Timmy T, our Masterchef for the day BBQed lots of lovely seafood plus these Squids!







 One of our family was 03 earlier in the month, another turned 18 today and the youngest turns 8 tomorrow.

 You know what they say... which is totally untrue...  Blue and Green must never been seen unless there is a Colour in between!

Just found this online...  Origins suggested on a couple of forums... Sailors thought it was bad luck to paint a boat green, as it couldn't be seen easily against the blue water if it capsized. Blue and green are too similar to be easily distinguished in black and white film.

What a lovely visit we enjoyed at Flower Power today.

we enjoyed a beautiful lunch and bought just three plants... boy oh boy that was hard to stop at just three!

We did buy as couple of large bags of potting mix as well.

We enjoyed a couple of hours with some local friends enjoying some absolutely beautiful music.

Sandy invited us to come to her home for a little of her favourite music, her piano is something else, so beautiful.

Colin and Sandy have lived in our area for many many years, Colin started school at our local Primary School quite a long time ago and Sandy's mother lived next door to us for many years as well.
Sallyanne and Nick, Nick and I met in our young teens down at Newport Beach.
A couple of Jean's sons are school friends of a couple of our children.
David and Pennie you already know.

Breakfast... or is it???


 Went up to  our local shops for a special breakfast this morning and I ordered what I totally loved last time we went there... but... but...  this meal that I was soooo looking forward to... just bombed Big Time!
Below is what I ordered last time and it was just so delish and light and so yummy...  and soooo different to what I got today and I had to wait more than one hour for my meal this morning, not going back here that's for sure!
