Our new Woolies Metro moved in last November where the Vet Hospital was, they've moved into what once was our wonderful Fruit and Vegetable Shop.


And they have not only Sushi but fresh seafood as well, Oysters!!  Yay!  (well sometimes you have to be quick.)

Photo a Day Challenge - 17.3.2022 - Something I think is boring.

The story of the washing and 

drying of David's Bamboo Socks! 

David washed his Port and Starboard socks on a Sunday, he loves these socks they are beautifully soft and thick and they came free because he was given a Voucher from The Fleet for the hours of volunteering work he does a few days a week... he bought three pairs, one for himself, one pair for Tomo and a pair for Gwil as well.

The socks didn't dry online the first day so I put them in our dryer with another load of washing but they came out very damp, the other washing came out dry... I put these socks in the dryer again by themselves for another 20 mins, still damp.

As there was no sun and much rain day after day we hung them on our drying rack which is above our combustion stove but we weren't lighting that, the daily temps are still pretty high.


The socks stayed up here for about 5 days with no drying improvement at all... then... at LAST we had a mostly sunny day!  
Are you totally bored yet?? 

To finish off, these socks are now dry and waiting to
welcome David's feet whenever he's ready.
