Tomos gave a talk about his singing career and more in Macau last night and we were able to watch it live via Facebook! Wonderful stuff, sound wasn't 100% ticketyboo but here's a little snippet I recorded!

You can see a very happy Emma in the audience here.

Photo a Day Challenge - 27.8.2020 - Beauty.

I called this quilt "My little Beauty'  it was a challenge set by one of my local quilter friends, Penny gave us each a piece of pale blue fabric with white spots, this wasn't really my thing, then she gave us monthly clues of what round we should be doing next so... Centre Blue & White Dot fabric, then applique - dot - stripe - our choice - blue - diamonds - out of the box - hexagon finishing with blue.  I have followed the instructions but not exactly as Penny expected!  I'm naughty like that :-)

We enjoyed a visit from Mr and Mrs King Parrot this morning, always a joy!

Mr King watches over his Missus while she enjoys some Native Bird Seed.
When the Missus has had an elegant sufficiency it's Mr King's turn to enjoy.

Photo a Day Challenge - 22.8.2020 - This evokes a memory.

2013 - After a sleep over I took Jack and Charlie to Macca's for a Breakfast Treat, Jack ordered some Egg  Burger thing and Charlie ordered Pancakes.  Jack was still hungry after his burger and requested Pancakes... I gave him some money and he went off to order for himself... instead of ordering one serving of Pancakes he ordered 'Three Pancakes' which was what was in one pack but he came back with 'Three' packs!  Jack ate one pack and I took the rest home, put them into the freezer and when we were able to enjoy another sleep over with not only Jack and Charlie but with Abi, Tilly and George out they came for another delicious Breakfast!

Mandy, Mandy, Mandy... Hurray! Haven't seen her in ages so what a treat to have her call in to say hello just now, we first rescued Mandy almost 4 years ago and I've just done a little research. A Kookaburra can live to be 20 years old.
