I found this beautifully made Birds Nest on the driveway yesterday.
I've put it into the Fairy Garden in the Castle that Rosie made many moons ago, isn't it beautiful! I would love to see the bird who made it and love to watch them making it.

Fun fun fun...
Yesterday Mr King Parrot called in to speak to me... so I grabbed our native bird seed and put some on the table outside, Mr King stayed here while I attended to his wishes then Mrs King flew in and while she was enjoying her snack Mr King kept guard ...
Next time I looked out two Lorrikeets were enjoying this snack... I don't know if they shooed Mr and Mrs King away, I didn't notice.

This morning I noticed quite a bit of seed was left on the table but not for long... A Cocky appeared and all was gobbled up.

This Cocky pops in every day, I try not to feed him every day but he/she hops about, looks through the window at me then goes to another window to see why I'm taking so long.
I gave in again today and gave her a few of these native bird seeds which were gobbled up before he/she went under the table to find any that had fallen off.

Photo a Day Challenge - 23.10.2021 - I love this time of Day.
I love when some native birds pop in for a little nibble of some native bird seed, this King Parrot and Cockatoo are regular at the moment, they just give me a little 'hello' when they arrive and wait patiently for me to get the seed.
We haven't seen Mandy for a few months now, I wonder where she is and just hope she's happy.

Just fascinated watching these beautiful Native birds, so beautiful but a little bit funny and they all enjoy a little bit of native bird seed.
Mrs King is watching him.
Oh deary me a fight??? No noooo...
Now that those King Parrots have had their fill along comes Mrs Cocky! Stunning birds all of them.
'Thank you' she says before flying off.

I wondered who the culprit was... Mmmmmm...
I noticed these bird droppings yesterday and did wonder who it was.
Then this morning the spooky sound of a Raven squawking up above gave the mystery away!

Mr King has come two days in a row now, he is getting a bit cheeky standing on the back of the old tram seat and calling through the window!

Chatting with Mr King, such a delight to have this fellow... and sometimes Mrs King as well... pop in for a bit of native seed and a little chat, so friendly 😊

Lovely to see a Native Noisey Miner nesting up near the Tennis Court.
I managed to get a photo of the nest but couldn't get a photo of their mother, there are two chicks chirping away in there and below is a photo of a Noisy Miner I found on the Net. Very sweet little birds but Mumma did not like me poking my nose in trying to get a photo, nor did she like a Bush Turkey walking down the driveway earlier this morning.
