Tomos singing in St Torney Church. North Hill. Cornwall.

TEAM-G have been visiting Trebartha near North Hill in Cornwall, this is where we were led to believe our ancestor John Rodd came from before arriving in Australia in 1822. I have been in touch with this wonderfully helpful man in North Hill who has a terrific website all about this area which is, by the way, mentioned in the Doomsday book... Check out the NORTH HILL HISTORY site, makes me want to do one for our little neck of the woods but there isn't anything as interesting here as there is in North Hill.

There is doubt that this is actually where our John came from. For those interested I am going to be digging deeper :-) so stay tuned!

WELL!!!!! That was some Birthday! Wow, Wow and Wow! In the words of the very wise 2 year old Remy... FUN DAY! or should I say... FUN 14 Days :-) Thank you everyone!

I think the Party's over...

Nick flew home to Hong Kong on Monday. Briony, Kate and James drove home to Canberra on Tuesday afternoon, Remy went home to Newton last night as did Jack and Charlie and right now TEAM-G are in the air flying to Hong Kong on their way to England for another 70th celebration.

Yes the Party is over!
