In the last two days we've had almost 9 inches of rain here but the winds were the worst. Today is perfect sun all day!

We were lucky only one branch down.

All chopped up now for firewood one day.

We planted these Lemon Scented gums more than 40 years ago! Unfortunately two have died.

View from our bedroom early this morning.

Beautiful beautiful trees trees trees, just love them even though they can make a bit of a mess at this time of year with all the bark falling off.

Photo a Day Challenge - 6.9.2022 - Green and Blue.

So who made up the silly saying... Green and Blue should never be seen unless there is a colour in between???

Nature is Blue and Green and it's so very beautiful...

Three lovely young men came around to our home today to cut down all the branches that lent over the roof that those darn Possums might have jumped off then into the chimney and down into our home making a horrible mess!

This chap started lopping the trees on this side of our home.

Unfortunately the crane thingy wouldn't work but this brave young man just shimmied up this Lemon Scented Gum tree in no time at all.

Branch down.

This is where we think that Possum jumped onto the top roof, now all clear.
Grinding going on out in the street.  What are relief, no Possums will be coming down our chimney now that's for sure!

Photo a Day Challenge - 25.11.2021 - Natural.

Our beautiful Lemon Scented Gums are doing what they do naturally, shredding their bark as Summer comes along.

As each day goes by more and more bark cracks off.
