The young Lad who surprised us yesterday with his big HELLO, vanished upstairs a couple of hours after arriving.

All was very quiet but we could occasionally  hear the odd movement.  When he came downstairs he invited us back up with him... and look what we found!  How beautiful are these, I've left them here for now, such a lovely memory, thank you James I just love your work.

Here's a little mystery that I've just solved!

Nerys came around today at about 11am, she'd noticed something at the front door as she drove down the driveway and surprise surprise this is what she found!  These beautiful flowers and a note from James.

Well we all know that our James doesn't live in Sydney so???   Nerys took this photo and sent it to Briony who knew nothing about them???

A fair bit of Messenger-ing went on and the mention of Sharon a long time school friend of Bri's and her son Dominic came up, Dominic has a school friend who lives a couple of homes away from us whose name is James???  Confused??  Yes indeedy!  So were we all.

Then a Messenger call with Briony who had just found out that Dominic, Sharon's son had put them there after enjoying a play date with our Neighbours son James.

I just rang Sharon and... she knew we hadn't been able to see Briony, James and Kate for such a long time she decided to deliver some flowers from our James (not the one next door)  Dominic delivered them and didn't knock on the door so these beautiful flowers had been here overnight, they are still beautifully fresh and smell divine!

Very lucky that no possum saw them.

Are you still with me??  Were you able to follow??  😉

Another day in Canberra and Morning Tea with my cousin Simon, Michelle and Harrie... oh and lets not forget Meg and Mog who James just adores.

Which one is Meg?  Which one is Mog and which one is James!

There were seven others enjoying Morning Tea but somehow taking photos of people wasn't as fascinating as these of James and his friends above 😀

Yes... quite correct these are the first Cat photos I've ever put on any of my Blogs and I've been Blogging for more than 14 years!

James sings Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!... or is it???

Pennie taught James this version of the song and he just loves it, sings all day he does 😃

Soup, a cauli, fridge, elastic, eggs, pea, halitosis!

David and I remember hearing this version many years ago made up by Frank Muir on the radio quiz show called 'My Word', never forgotten it and what fun teaching Grandchildren!

Frank Muir and Dilys Powell
Over the years, the show gained a cult following, not just in the UK, but overseas where it could be heard on the BBC World Service.
Most listeners tuned in for the final round, in which the comics provided their own shaggy dog stories by way of a bogus explanation for a well known phrase.
So you want to know where Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious comes from? Why, it's just a shopping list, including a remedy for someone with bad breath: "Soup, a cauli, fridge-elastic, eggs, pea - halitosis!"

This has to be the most difficult Jigsaw I have ever put together, thankfully it had tiny little numbers on the inside... but warning... don't let little children play with this Globe as if it's a ball... three repairs later...

James had the best Birthday Party ever.

Saturday morning, about 20 minutes before Party guests were expected David and I walked down the driveway to surprise Briony, Kate and James William for his very late 3rd Birthday.

We surprised them that's for sure, it was just lovely but the sight of that little James William, coming outside to greet us with his great big smile and arms outstretched is one I will never forget :-)

We took a couple of old Dinky toys for James, he loved the old Fire Engine but it was the old American Dump Truck that stole his attention.
We filled the dump trunk, we emptied the dump truck but then food arrived and James dumped the dump truck for another day  :-)

Lots of lovely friends and neighbours.

David with my cousins Harrie and Simon.

Terrific next door kids, Asher and Benji.

What a cute little poppet this little one is, even with a chocolate face.

 Cupcakes were very popular!

But the cake was the biggest hit... made by our Kate!!  Just delicious it was.

 Happy Birthday to James.

Cousin Simon was willing and able to help James with some Lego.

Michelle, Kate and David enjoying the beautiful warm day.

 Briony enjoying some Orange Juice??

Happy Grandparents with happy James William.

 Happy Mummies as well.

It was indeed a very happy day.

A lovely squeezy ball to play with.

And a quiet story to finish.
