A couple of Gladdies have joined Mr Lincoln.
Gladdies of course always remind us of Dame Edna and my receiving a magnificent bunch from her after appearing onstage at her request 😇

Poor Mr Lincoln, he was budding beautifully... only one bud... but then we had a couple of hot stinking days and he got sunburnt!
He still smells divine and next time we have a overly hot day I will put a bonnet on him 😉

Knitting! Yes that should my middle name, I've been knitting almost non stop since I was 5 years old.
Wow! That's 70 years, my Great Aunt Carol taught me and I really haven't stopped but... but... this Aran Pattern is one I've knitted 9 times, yes NINE times!
First time was in 1967 for David who had sailed to England and it was darn cold over there :-) well this photo was taken in 1968 in Monaco.
Davids jumper wore out a bit so I knitted him a second one but he does still have and still wear the old one sometimes.
#4 was for Tomos in a grey wool.
#5 for Gwilym in a dark blue.
#6 was requested by Jackson.
#7 I made as a vest for myself.
#8 requested by Abigail in a light blue.
#9 requested in this bone colour for Gwilym again.
Here is the pattern book with Tony Bonner on the cover, the pages are a tad worn,
I have also knitted a few Fair Isle jumpers... I wonder how many of those, will have to take a look.

33 Years ago today we were sailing on Sydney Harbour with the National Trust to see the re-enactment of the arrival of the First Fleet.
Ships, ships everywhere ships.
Nerys, Gwilym and their grandfather Ripley.
Rip, Nerys, David and I think that might be part of me far right.
All the ships docked.
Tomos and Briony.

Last Thursday was the 30th Anniversary of the worst storm I've ever experienced.
Our home after the fence which fell down was cleared away. Ten days without power pushed it a bit but we did have a gas fridge and stove in our Big Green Bus! Photo of our bus kitchen below taken in 1984 at Burleigh Heads, Queensland with Chris and Tony a couple of American surfers.
Next door.
Sign at the start of Bobbin Head Road.
Hail Damage,
One of several trees that we lost.
Our nature strip.
Another tree down.
Tennis court flooded.
Garage back door.
Damaged roof tiles.
For several months many many trucks past our home several times a day after cleaning up the damage and taking it up to the Tip.

This is what I've been doing in my Sewing Room, Bonnie K Hunters 'Grassy Creek' Mystery.
This is only half of the blocks I've already made with this Mystery! Yes I know her quilts are always giant size!
