Photo a Day Challenge - 7 June 2024 - I have.
My Great Aunt Carol taught me to knit when I was 5 years old... and I'm still knitting knitting and more knitting.
Here are the first two Aran Jumpers I knitted back in 1967/8, and each evening I'm knitting #12 Aran jumper, almost finished, started the second sleeve last night.
I also knit these little Dolls for Hornsby Hospital Children's ward. Gosh that's 73 years of knitting... with a lot more to come.

What to do next or what not to do??
The last of the wools in the stripes, I still have a lot of the top wool though... so what to do? Leave it as it is and enjoy or... add sleeves - Nah! I dunno, might decide next winter methinks!

Just Horrible! I'm so devastated and sad and angry with that new washing machine we have!
I've always managed to do a gentle woollen wash over the many years I've used washing machines but... these two new jumpers that I've knitted for myself this year are now just rubbish! Grrrrrrrrr! So angry, how did this happen??? Not me it must be the new washing machine that has a Woollens wash!
The beautiful wools on the left are described as 60% Wool, 20% Alpaca, 5% Silk, 15% Neps! What are Neps???
Okay I looked Neps up... (Neps are best described as dense, tangled clumps of short fibres of the fleece.)
I do so love the wools from these two, so soft and lovely to knit but... 😢
Here is the only photo I have enjoying my lovely soft knitted cardie!

Wrapped with Love knitted blanket #4 finished! Yay!
2020 - Wrapped with Love Blanket #3 also knitted using my left overs.
2023 - Just finished this Wrapped with Love Blanket #4 and now I have no more left over wools, well I do have little scraps but not enough to make another blanket, I'm knitting little dolls to give to the Children's ward at Hornsby Hospital at the moment... I will have to ask the family if any one of them would like a knitted item or??? maybe buy more wools to knit another Wrapped with Love blanket??? Mmmm time will tell. Can't not have any knitting to do that's for sure.
