Repairing Repairing and more...
The white strip on the left will come off so I will need only 6 good blocks to add to each end, I have five goodies and will work on the sixth one using parts of the scrappy bits.
Five good blocks below and I'm sure I can make one more good one from those above!

Repairing David's Quilt!
I made these two quilts back in 1994... Gollygoshgeewillikens! That's 30 years ago and I hand quilted both of them! David has rubbed both ends of his quilt with his whiskers and ruined a few blocks... 6 in fact.
Plus a bit of those blocks next to them.
My quilt on the other hand is in excellent condition.
I've thunk about it and decided that I will take both the top and bottom rows off David's quilt, throw out the ruined blocks then mend those that were next to them and then... I will make another row using the clean blocks and add that row to the others, the quilt will be shorter than mine but that's what happens isn't it.

I'm loving my 'Naughty Jane' Quilt, made 11 years ago!
My Quilt is called 'Naughty Jane' because not only did I use brightish plain colours I appliqued instead of piecing. Now of course I'm trying to work out which block is which... I could be here forever! I didn't copy every block, just some I liked the look of.
Nah too difficult, I do love mine more that the original though.

Our Clivea's have finished for this year.
This is what they look like today and below what they looked like on the 13th September,
only 3 weeks ago.
There is a tiny bit of colour here and soon our Star Jasmine will not only be in flower but will smell delightful.
This is not a Christmas Wreath on our front door, it's a beautiful Wreath! made by our Gwilym.
Oh and BTW not only have I managed to take some photos today, I also brought in two bins, chatted to a neighbour and and and washed and hung out these three quilts all on my own, have to admit to feeling a tad woozy now so a knees up in my comfy chair is calling me. Well done Penniedarling.

Gosh this is a surprise...
Yesterday my friend Cori sent me a photo of an old 'Down Under Quilts' magazine with a quilt of mine on the cover which was lovely... I dug out a an old photo taken in 2005 of me with Briony who I'd made this quilt for.
Then I remembered this...
Hey... maybe I can make quilts!! 🎉
I know... Showing Off!

Photo a Day Challenge - 13.12.2022 - Something Green.
Couldn't help myself, here a few Green Quilts I've made over the years.
Front and Back of a cosy little Raggy.
This was a Challenge, the fabric was given to us and we made 'something' with it, this is just a little Wall Hanging but I did love hand making it, such little pieces and such fussy cutting.
Australian State Flower emblems I made as a wall hanging for Susan many years ago.
A Babushka Quilt I made for one of my Great Nieces for her 1st Birthday.
And below this beautiful quilt was gifted to me by one of my long time friends Dave Crisp who was gifted it from a family connection in the USA, he'd never used it and when he found out I loved making quilts he gave it to me! How lucky am I eh! All beautifully hand made and very much treasured that's for sure.
