What a fun day we had last Sunday!

An early Christmas with most of our family... missing TEAM-G though.
Secret Santa started the day.
Tim and Nerys very happy with their gifts.

Kris Kringle is the bestest way to go at Christmas, each of us were able to request three things and we sent our wish to Shea, one of Briony's friends in Canberra for her to choose who bought for who with a $50 budget, nobody knows who is buying for you until the day,  so much fun and laughter and by far the best way to go, although David and I really struggled with our wishes because we don't need anything and we do have a lot of 'stuff', but we managed and were very happy with our gifts!

Remy and Elodie are really happy with their gifts that's for sure.


David is very happy with his 'Hamper' request  
as was I with my wonderful Waratah.

The girls are in awe of the article in the 'Bush Tele' about Jackson's group called the 'Atlantic Avenue', Jackson happily signed a copy for each of us.

For lunch we really enjoyed Timmy T's  BBQed Turkey.
David slowed smoked a pickled leg of Pork from Jason the best butcher in the whole wide world who is up at our  local shops, we had some wonderful salads and bread made by our Gwilym and some yummy sweeties as well.

It was indeed a lovely day.

Running away from home at Easter is never a good idea Traffic Wise!!

We are here somewhere stuck in this stop/crawl traffic for over one hour, gosh this is boring and frustrating...

 We made it to Canberra eventually very happy but just a tad tired! 
 Nerys, Briony, Pennie and Susan... can you see the likeness?

 Lovely family weekend even though it was only half of us.

Food was seriously good with contributions from all of us... Yum!

A beautifully BBQed whole Snapper, Crash Hot Potatoes, with a Super Duper Salad and Yoghurt, Berries and Toffee Shards to finish... Hey... the only chocolate we enjoyed was those delicious Cocolate coated Strawberries sent from Bri and Kate. Yummy Day that's for sure!

 Remy is concentrating on hand picking the Pomegranate seeds from his salad, Remy loves Pomegranate!

 Elodie loves having her photo taken, she's all smiles... but...
Elodie also loves seeing the photo straight after it's been taken  :-)

 Selfie... with the screen up so we can see what we look like before we click!

 I have knitted these dolls with numbers on because names just wouldn't have fitted... so here we have #1 Jackson, #2 Abigail, #3 Charlie, #4 Matilda, #5 George, #6 Remy, #7 James and #8 Elodie...  (I have just noticed an error with the dolls...  after almost one year...  I will have to fix it tonight, can you see my error?

Now can you guess which two of these dolls Elodie grabbed to play with yesterday??  We know she doesn't know her numbers yet so it was a lucky choice, how lovely is she!
