Last weekend enjoyed a lunch and a lovely few hours around North Head and Manly, sky looks interesting but we didn't get any rain thankfully.

Tomos and Emma were married up here 21 years ago!

Photo a Day Challenge - 6.11.2016 - Clouds.

Not many clouds in our clear blue sky today but there are plenty here in this photo of Lion Island taken after a lot of rain in 2012.

Lunch at Collaroy!

 Lots and Lots of seaweed!

We made this lunch date with Francoise about 8 weeks ago... how lucky were we that the weather turned from weeks of rain to fine and sunny and warm!  That sun must have known how special Francoise is eh!

Lovely little exursion to Dee Why for an Oyster or two...

... and the Sun came out for us.

A few Surfers out there... I missed their rides.
This will teach me, when I see a name like this I have to do a search when I get home...  Very sad... but wonderful of the Community.   Michaela Howie.

Lovely lunch today at 'The Beach Club' Collaroy.

Right on the beach, what could be nicer.

Some very brave surfers out enjoying a small wave.

Just beautiful!

Photo a Day Challenge - 12.2.2014 - Out and About.

I wish...  at the moment I'm pretty much house bound, the only trips I take are to the Dr or the Physio with the one outing to the Pub a couple of weeks ago...  oh well... it will happen, life will return to normal soon.

Celebrating the 13th of the Month... Today I decided, seeing it was such a brilliantly beautiful day... that David and I should visit the beaches we missed on my birthday last month.

So we started at Turimetta Beach, how pretty is this!

Behind the sign, a couple of Lillies.

 A waving David  :-)

This is a very pretty little beach, not many people about but not much of a surf either.

Collaroy Basin.

These four homes are all one complex, I love them, they aren't out there and in your face, they look like ordinary holiday homes but they're a lot more.

Long Reef Golf Club... there were lots of diners here today.

Boat Ramp for Fishermen with a fish cleaning table and sink.

I've never seen a sign like this before, absolutely fascinating, it describes each fish and tells you how many you are allowed to bag.  Gosh this must be a popular fishing spot.

Lunch in Dee Why once again...

I cannot go past 'Wildwater's' Oysters at $1.00 each.  Just as delicious as they were three weeks ago and look at this view  :-)

Isn't this funky, I wonder how the towns got chosen but it makes a very ugly grill look rather fun.

 Crystal clear clean water...

There is always a ship way way out to sea...

Amazing patterns in the rocks.
