I'm going through all my old 'Crafty' books and found this 2005 Down Under Quilts Magazine!



Wow!  I'd forgotten all about this quilt, I did love making it and I was very proud that it made it to the cover of this Magazine,  I'm still making Hexagon Quilts.

Advice needed please...

Do you think there is anything I can do here??  
This is my Favourite Husband's quilt but his whiskers have ruined both ends of this quilt  I made for him, I no longer have any of these fabrics and I have to say that of alllll the quilts I've made over the years this has never happened to any of them.
Gosh it's 30 years old!

This quilt was started in the 1920's by David's Grandmother, it was never finished and sadly rotting when I received it.
I restored it and had it machine quilted... Tilly has it now.

I'm Sewing YAY!!!

I haven't been able to do much sewing this year because of very painful hands ... and feet!  One of my many side effects of the Chemo I've had, but when an 8 year old grandchild requests a Raggy Quilt what am I going to do!  Firstly cut out all the flannel squares then bring the sewing machine into the family room with all the Sun!  Wonderful!

PAD June is 'Grateful Month' 14.6.2022 - So grateful to have won First Prize for my Miniature Hexagons.

Long time ago now and the confidence this win gave me to continue my whacky quilting is wonderful.
The Prizes were absolutely Wonderful!  Well except for those pegs, absolutely useless and difficult to use and all now broken and in the bin!
