Wonderful late Brunch today up at one of our favourite eating places at our local shops.

Right on the corner watching our neighbours passing by... one of whom we only knew well.
David enjoyed TWENTY74 SCRAMBLER ON CROISSANT  He asked for some Jam to put on the top of his Croissant after he'd eaten all the bottom.
Penniedarling enjoyed CORN AND ZUCCHINI FRITTERS

I had to ask for a 'Doggy Bag' because this delicious meal was soooo big... I did make a confession to the Waitress when she delivered it... I told her that I don't have a dog, which gave her a laugh.

Why is it called a 'Doggy Bag'?  isn't there a better word??   Straight to Google... 

Okay, here's what they tell me.

Water is running into our section of this canal, way back in 1978, we hired this boat for a few days with visiting friends.    That's Tomos on top right of this photo and Nerys is leaning on the gate handle??  nearest to Tom, we're waiting to fill up then we potter out and onto the next Canal.

These birds who all met online with the Southern Cross Quilters, have been flocking to a couple of Pubs for 20 years or more now and what a noise they can make even while their hands are busy sewing, knitting, quilting some beautiful creations!

 Tilly requested this Aran pattern and chose this beautiful coloured wool... after 2 months of my knitting and a couple of weeks travelling to London it's ARRIVED!   So beautiful Tilly, you have chosen very well.

We've been enjoying some lovely weather, some sun, some warm and a little breeze now and then and our Garden is loving it!

I can't believe all the buds on our old Christmas Bush, it's going to be a real stunner soon, and my little new Christmas Bush below is looking very happy as well.

The Star Jasmine on the tennis court is just Wonderful!  and I do so love the smell... 
The Jasmine around our front door hasn't started opening just yet but when it does you will get to see it here.....
Lavender Lavender how I love our Lavender, I know Niall will be pruning it heavily this weekend and I will miss it but will grab lots of cuttings to keep for a while... and look at that lovely pink Geranium on the other side of the driveway.

What a stunning Gum Tree Wow!
