David's old corduroy slacks totally worn out and these 'overies'* are only about 18 months old... both gone in the recycling bin.

 This is my Happy Dress, I bought it in the 1970's and I still just love it, how could you not, bright pink, red, blue and green with lots of love hearts, it's made from a very good quality cotton fabric so perfect to wear in hot weather but... while my 'Happy Dress' has been sitting in the wardrobe it's shrunk down to a size 12, so no longer fits me...  here's my Dilema!

Nerys has been watching Dawn O'Porter on You Tube, this Dawn loves old clothes and turning them into clothes that suit today.

Nerys rang me the other day, very bravely I must add and asked if she could have my 'Happy Dress' and would I turn it into a Mini Dress!   Yikes!   I thought about it for a while, I ummmed and aaarrrred my legs went to jelly but I took a deep breath and said... 'It would be an honour!'  or something like that, but my heart was pounding.

So... say I go ahead with Nerys' wishes... what can I do with the fabric I cut off?  I would like to wear something?  make something else?  

 Any suggestions would be gratefully received.
P.S.  I cannot find a photo of me wearing this dress, I wonder why?

 This Leather Coat is out of place... I have no idea who it belongs to but it's been hanging in one of the cupboards upstairs for years now...

 It's not ours... Size 6???  I doubt if it ever belonged to any or our children and I have asked them all.

 This Jacket is out of place as well, it was hanging with the coat.


Hanging in this coat cover...  does it belong to Emma????  or Emily????  or one of you beautiful slim things that has stayed with us over the years?????  Please help!
