Today is my 17th Anniversary of Blogging! Yay!
Here is my very first Post!
The Background.
1968-70 - Pennie and David are Australians who were married in England while travelling the World.
1971-76 - Living in Sydney setting up our home, having babies and starting our business.
1977-79 - Returned to live in the UK with three small children.
1980-2005 - Living in Sydney, had our fourth child and have spent the last 25 years educating Nerys, Tomos, Briony and Gwilym.
With all our children either happily married or happily partnered with Tim, Emma, Joon and Emily, plus the addition of our first Grandson, Jackson Harry, life is great... So... Now itβs time to put our plans of another return to the UK into action.
2005-06 - Tomos, Emma and our first Granddaughter, Abigail Rose live in London so we will find a place near their home to make our base while we are in the UK.
Pennie and David will be visiting old and new friends, old and new haunts and following up on some of our passions like Patchwork Quilts, Old Double Decker Buses and of course spending as much time as possible with our Tom's family and trying not to miss the rest of our family back home in Australia.
We set up this Blog so that our family and friends could keep track of us while we are away from home, itβs our personal diary of our trip.
Wow! Just did a count... 12! I've been involved with 12 different Blogs.

Photo a Day Challenge - 22.7.2022 - Current Interest.
(LEAFLETS DROPPED ON Aust 9th Division at El Alamein by German African Corps Aircraft. They came in handy for toilet paper of which we had none! R)
My current interest is getting all the love letters, into a book, that our father Ripley wrote to our mother Rosie, this is one sent from El Alamein during WW2 in 1943, before they married.
