I know this sounds weird but there again you've always known I'm a bit of a Weirdo!!
Yesterday I was working on my 'Memories of Wollogorang' when I came to the bit about meeting David and I tried to remember what he said in his Speech at my 50th Birthday Party, it was funny and he didn't write it down so of course I had to watch the old Video which we both enjoyed enormously, I got what I needed but what I loved and remembered with so much love was the Speech my Dad Rip gave, he wrote it down for me thankfully so I thought I'd share it... It was a fantasmorgorigal Party that's for sure. Enjoy!
Our Garage came up trumps for the Cabaret that's for sure.

Photo a Day Challenge - 28.2.2022 - Favourite word.
Well it is my worst swear word so I hope you don't mind...
PoopootoShirley.
This word came into our family way back in about 1957 with a story our Great Aunt Nancy told us about the time she and our cousin Sue were travelling on the top floor of a Double Decker bus through Piccadilly in London.
On the street below they noticed a largish young woman skipping along and lifting her skirt above her head every now then while Kicking up her Legs... and singing...

We will never know the story here, one can only speculate.

One of my very favourite flowers, pretty and smelling just beautiful.
Always loved Frangipani, I made these Leis for David and I when he headed off to New Zealand in 1967.

Last night I had a dream, a sort of weird dream never been dreamed before and hopefully never will again!
I dreamt that I felt something on my knee, I moved it then I heard something drop... I woke up and quickly turned the light on but there was nothing on the floor and David was sound asleep, weird eh!
When I woke up in the morning and headed downstairs!!!!!! YIKES! That wasn't a dream, that was real! PoopootoShirley!
I knew what it was immediately, we've seen this around our garden for many a year, I headed downstairs to the kitchen... Mmmmm...What the flippin' heck! I only bought these beautiful fruits yesterday!
All over the kitchen bench was more of this... and ash as well.
I have to say, I am impressed with the peeling of this banana and eating it all.
More of this disgusting stuff on our precious over 130 year old four Generations High Chair!
After searching all through the house upstairs and down, opening several outside doors my Hero aka David Griffiths found it in my sewing room Yuck!
Luckily David had made a barricade with some of my sewing stuff cause when this little critter tried to run back to the Kitchen, but out at last into heavy rain.
