Photo a Day Challenge - 8.2.2024 - Starts with the letter M.

Money Money Money ... we never throw anything out do we but these are fun, we've gone through this collection a couple of times with the grandkids which brings back lots of wonderful memories of our travels, especially the Russian money which we were told we had to give to the Customs as we were leaving the country... I hid what we still had left in my shoes, there was no way I was giving this money back for nothing, I must dig them out and have a little look.

The USSR Rouble I smuggled out in 1970.   In those days if you had any left over Russian money you had to hand it over to Customs when you left the country, I wasn't going to do that, I hid it in my shoe 😉

We're Rich!! We're Rich... Thank you Mr Postie :-)

There's something to be said for dry winter months, this winter our roof made $748.20 worth of Electricity but we only used $403.97 of what we made so into the bank goes just over $300!!  Hurray.

And... in the same post... I got a cheque for my out of pocket expenses for that accident I had in Canberra last January!

We're Rich!!   We are going to spend this money on new fencing and trying to get rid of those tick bearing Bandicoots!  Anyone know where I can buy a Fox?

Oh dear a Cheque... what does one do with a cheque nowadays, I'll have to actually walk into my Bank won't I, that will be weird, I haven't been inside our bank for years.

Look I'm rich!!!!!   It's funny what you can find in my home!  Who knew I had this many notes from so many different countries,  I didn't! 

We haven't even been to some of these countries on these notes, one of the children must have over the years... but I do remember those old Aussie notes.
