Decided to have a clean out of my Patchwork books...

 Where did all these beautiful books come from, well it has been years I suppose oh deary me what will I do with them all I wonder????


Not just Patchwork books some other couple of interesting books below... I'd forgotten I had.

This is part of my collection of old bottles.


We did love seeing Queen Mary's Dolls House at Windsor Castle many moons ago.

I have lots of favourite books but when asked I go back to my childhood and these amazing stories set in Canada... here's what they say about these books...

The Bobbsey Twins are the principal characters of what was, for many years, the longest-running series of children's novles. The books related the adventures of the children of the middle-class Bobbsey family, which included two sets of fraternal twins: Bert and Nan, who where 12 years old, and Flossie and Freddie, who where six. Share the stories of your childhood with your children and grandchildren! Here are the original Bobbsey Twin adventures.

This is the first book I put together for our 40th Wedding Anniversary, it's copies of all the letters David wrote to me before we were married, a copy of which is in State Library and below the letter I received from Paul Brunton which is very heartwarming.

Photo a Day Challenge - 2/11/2022 - Book Cover.

 

I put this book together for our 40th Wedding Anniversary... Wow thats 14 years ago.  I typed up all the handwritten letters David wrote to me from Australia, New Zealand and England while I was in Perth, Sydney, Brisbane and Canberra... starting in 1966 to just before we married in 1968.

Below is a copy of the letter I received after sending a copy to the State Library where it's kept along with about 30 years of my Christmas Cards and a copy of Mystory.

Photo a Day Challenge - 20.8.2021 - Month of Gratitude.


 These are the two books I've put together this year, in this time of Lock-down.  I am so Grateful that I'm able to do this sort of thing after a very disrupted education, a lack of being able to spell and lack of any real knowledge about grammar... but Hey!  It doesn't matter once I start to write my memories down more and more keep coming back and spell check is a wonderful thing as is Wiki for checking all sorts of things going way back.   I'm very proud of these two books some of which are on their way for family to enjoy! 

My third book for the year is well underway and is going to take a long long time but I'm loving it!
