Penniedarling

We had our first date here back in about October in 1967!   Today is our 56th Wedding Anniversary and we're sharing a Bombe 'Alaska' with a Sparkler in it, put there by the Chef!
The food, as usual, was FANTASMORGORIGAL!
The lovely waitress wrote this on our bill  😘

This picture frame fell off our wall the other night and I don't know if this sounds a tad creepy or ??? It's a photo of us kids and grand kids plus extended family celebrating our parents/grandparents/aunt and uncle - Rip and Rosie's 40th Wedding Anniversary... and... next Saturday would have been their 80th Wedding Anniversary, of course they have both passed but... ??? are they telling us that we could celebrate what would have been their 80th?

I ordered my favourite from Sushi Hub.
David went up the shops to get a Pizza but was too late because the shop had closed so he got Fish and Chips... Plus... Baklava for afters.
But BESTEST OF ALL... JACKSON popped in to say hello and show us his 'new' and first car  YAY

 This is the longest I've ever been married 💏😘💗 

These two Aussies married in Guildford, Surrey and spent almost 2 years living and driving around Europe in one of three wonderful London Taxi's.  We sent our last Taxi (named Tabitha by our friend Peter) home to continued our travels by train and boat through Russia and onto the USA and Canada then back to Australia not only to be reunited with our families but dear 'Tabitha' as well, 25 years we enjoyed the company of our Taxi.

This Blog I did many years ago is now in Trove - I still love looking over it sometimes.
