My Favourite Husband...
... has just headed off to Turramurra Library to drop off my two Wrap with Love blankets then to the checking area to get some money from these bottles and cans! I wonder how much they are worth!

Wrapped with Love knitted blanket #4 finished! Yay!
2014 - Wrapped with Love Blanket #1 using left over wools from my Aunt Anne, here's my cousins Simon and Megan enjoying it, I had a little help from my SCQuilter friends knitting up some of these squares which was lovely.2016 - Wrapped with Love Blanket #2 I knitted using so many of my left over wools.
2020 - Wrapped with Love Blanket #3 also knitted using my left overs.
2023 - Just finished this Wrapped with Love Blanket #4 and now I have no more left over wools, well I do have little scraps but not enough to make another blanket, I'm knitting little dolls to give to the Children's ward at Hornsby Hospital at the moment... I will have to ask the family if any one of them would like a knitted item or??? maybe buy more wools to knit another Wrapped with Love blanket??? Mmmm time will tell. Can't not have any knitting to do that's for sure.

Lovely Sunny Knitty sort of Saturday.
Table ready, Soup is on and Pudding is in the oven.
The reason for this Saturday fun is a long story...
My Aunt Anne, wife of my favourite Uncle Tony, died just before Christmas. When my cousins Simon and Megan were selling her home Simon mentioned that there was a heap of craft things in the house and would I like them... well how could I have said no thanks.
Back seat of my car chocka!
Boot Chocka!
Anyway there was heaps and heaps of the most wonderful of all crafty things some of which I still don't know what they are, a lot will go to Charity, a lot went in amongst my crafty things and lots of threads went to Nerys who has bought a Sewing Machine!!
Then there was this Wool...
And amongst all this wool...
Were two sheets of instructions of how to make 'Wrap with Love' blankets... so I started making squares from Anne's wools planning to finish off what she wanted to make... I got three squares done and then realized it was going to take me forever to make the 28 needed to make one 'Wrap'!
So what ya gonna do? I called in some of my knitting friends...
It was a lovely and funny day... seeing everyone around table knitting and chatting and laughing and did we get some more squares done... but I'm not half way there yet so... I might have to hold another 'Slave for a Day' and sit and chat and lunch and Knit for 'Wrap for Love'. Tough eh! :-)
