What the Heck???

Yesterday this arrived for me...  well to Penelope Griffiths anyway... at our address with my mobile phone number.  There's 12 very wide rolls of Alfoil in this box, wider than I've ever seen in any supermarket.

I never ordered these so what the Heck??  David rang them and they don't have a clue either.

The things we do for love, like walking in the park and cutting large shirt cuffs into half the size they were... for my Favourite Husband.

HMHS Britannic was the third and final vessel of the White Star Line's Olympic class of steamships and the second White Star ship to bear the name Britannic. She was the youngest sister of the RMS Olympic and the RMS Titanic and was intended to enter service as a transatlantic passenger liner. Wikipedia

A lovely catch up with our long time friend Francoise today.

We met Francoise way back in 1971, not long after she'd arrived from France.
We enjoyed a lovely lunch at the Ivanhoe Hotel in Manly.

Photo a Day Challenge - 23.5.2024 - Nostalgia.

Very nostalgic about our holidays in our Albion Bus, here we are at Burleigh Heads in Queensland, way back in the 1980's, lovely memories of all those holidays and parties in this that's for sure.  Both Buses now belong to the Sydney Bus Museum.

Lots going on here today...

David mowed up the leaves from the tennis court.
Charlie is cleaning up the vines on our pergola.
And there's a couple of blokes mending the leaky roof next door.

Look at ME, Look at ME... Look at ME...

I bought some new slippers yesterday, and they are the bestest!  So comfy and warm with great soles for safety... and look at the knitting!!!  Wow, who knitted these I wonder??    Just love them.
