Keeping busy during Lockdown.
Below are some of our flowering apricot petals caught up in one of our many many spider webs, bit blurry but you can see the spider down the bottom.

Keeping busy during Lockdown!
On Sunday I made more of my favourite Apple, Carrot, Ginger and Mint juice!
The mint makes my juice a darker colour but just yummy!

That was quick.
David bought 15 old tiles for the repair of roof.
Only one broken but it was a big break. Now we have 14 spare tiles just in case.

Yesterday's Breakfast was a little different.
Not enough milk in the fridge, no bread in the freezer and out of my Apple Carrot & Ginger juice but... there were Blini's, Strawberry Jam and Yoghurt in the fridge! Yay! Plus another beautiful orange from Nerys and Tim's tree and what was left of my favourite Shape Milk.

Even though it's cold and grey a little wander around our garden always brings delight.
Lots of lovely Limes, now what will we do with them, gotta think of something delicious, must look for some recipes, I've made Lime Cordial many times and would like to find something different.
Pretty pretty with many flowers.
Looky Looky Looky... the Daffodils Gwilym gave me are popping their heads up... YAY! Love Daffs.

24 Hours with this attached!
Looks fun doesn't it, or does it. 24 hours with this Holter Monitor attached.
From Wiki - The Holter monitor is a type of portable electrocardiogram (ECG). It records the electrical activity of the heart continuously over 24 hours or longer while you are away from the doctor's office. A standard or "resting" ECG is one of the simplest and fastest tests used to evaluate the heart.

David and Pennie were good last night, no bucking the system this time they did what they were supposed to do...
... all three bins went out, were emptied and are now back in their right place, not like a fortnight ago ๐Lovely thing is that because we didn't put our bins out a fortnight ago our neighbours were a little concerned and checked that we were okay.

Woke up this morning and decided what I needed on this cold chilly day was... A Full English Breakfast.
Now I've never been able to stomach one of these even when living in the UK so why now??
Anyway I checked online and almost choked so invented my own 'English Breakfast' toasted sandwich.
Grilled bacon and sausage, grain bread, lots of baby spinach, a slice of cheese and a little BBQ sauce.
My toasted English Breakfast along with a beautiful orange grown by Nerys and Tim, my homemade Apple, Carrot, Ginger and Mint juice and a glass of water.
Nothing could be finer!
Here's a photo I grabbed from a recipe online. Mushrooms, tomatoes, bacon, sausage, eggs, baked beans and black pudding... nah! Mine is much more to my taste.

I spent several hours at the Pub yesterday! Yay! It's been almost 18 months since I have been able to get there.
Not just the Covid but other stuff has kept me away as well so it was rather exciting to get out and about and not only enjoy a good lunch but spend time with like minded friends sewing, knitting, stitching and crocheting away while chatting.
Have a little look see on our Sydney SCQuilters Blog.
