 There she is the reason for this parade a week before ANZAC Day, the new Winged Victory.  The Winged Victory that stood here before was almost 100 years old and was starting to fall apart so Marrickville Council sent it to the Australian War Museum in Canberra and built a new one to replace her...  just beautiful she is and coincidentally Jack and Charlie saw the old one in the Museum only last week while they were in Canberra.

 These people were behind us in the Parade... the old Holden Taxi that belongs to the Museum is way back.

One photo I wasn't able to get was of the Council workers who followed the horses and the camels carrying shovels... to pick up the poo, and while there wasn't any poo they marched along swinging their shovels... very funny.
