Advice needed please...

Do you think there is anything I can do here??  
This is my Favourite Husband's quilt but his whiskers have ruined both ends of this quilt  I made for him, I no longer have any of these fabrics and I have to say that of alllll the quilts I've made over the years this has never happened to any of them.
Gosh it's 30 years old!

It’s a sign of a very loved quilt, so I’d redo the four blocks in as similar fabrics as you can find and put them in the quilt or appliqué them over the blocks if machine quilted. It’s just adding to the story of the quilt.

Thanks Loz, I've just checked it's 10 blocks in all that have been 'very' loved :-) Mmmm... I think they need to come out... I'll keep thinking.
