Photo a Day Challenge - 31.5.2021 - In My Car.
Nothing to see in my car nowadays but back in the late 1960's there was a lot more fun going on, sleeping, eating and just enjoying the ride.

Had to look up what Flat Lay meant, just things laid flat and photographed from above.
My favourite way to eat Sausage Rolls, sliced then baked in the oven, yummy.

David was busy yesterday, I saw all this down the back this morning... so much more wood.
Lots of dead leaves, I wonder if my man about the house will mow them up today.

We have plenty of wood to keep us warn this time of year.
These were being thrown out at The Fleet where David volunteers a few times a week, very handy to get our fire underway each evening that's for sure.

I collected these many years ago, from Australia and the UK but this is the first time I've counted them, there are more than 47 bottles and more than 30 ceramic jars and I love them all!

Warning - I've been thinking again!
Can't help myself can I! Since I put that post up about being a Great Aunt my head hasn't stopped, how old was I when I was a Grandmother? - I was 57 and David became a Grandfather when he was 60 to our Grandson Jackson!
How old were Rip and Rosie when they became Grandparents? Rosie was 48 when Nerys was born and Rip was 55.
When Jackson their first Great Grandchild was born Rosie was 79 and Rip was 86.
Charlie with his Greats and his Grands! How old were Harrie and Eileen my maternal Grandparents when their first grandchild 'Pennie' was born?
Poppa was 48 and Mama 49
I met two of my Great Grandmothers, Edith Long was 75 when she became a Great and Gertrude Cobcroft was 88.

I've been thinking... I know DaNgErOuS!!
I am making some small quilts for a couple of Great Nieces and I started thinking... how old was I when I became a Great Aunt? I was almost 65.
My youngest brother Nick was a Great Uncle to Jackson at 44yrs, brother Tim was 54.
Then I had to see how old my Great Aunts and Uncles were when they had a Great Niece, well Penniedarling really.
My Great Aunt Nancy, aka Cranky, was only 37 when I was born, but I'm sure she would have been a Great before 37.
My Great Aunt Ella was 64yo when I was born.
My Great Uncle Brent was 45 when I was born.
By the look of it, everyone was a Great Aunt or Uncle before me... okay I'm stopping now 😉

My Aunt Audrey was 16 years older than me, but it was only recently that I noticed just how much we looked alike when we were young.

I've never been any good at gardening -
- but I'm hoping I have some success with these 😊
I bought some Sweet Pea seedlings last year then after they had finished flowering there were some pea pods left on the plants. I picked them all, dried them then a month or so ago Niall planted the seeds here for me... looking good! Fingers crossed for some flowers this year.Labels: Garden

I enjoyed a lovely day last Sunday...
Phone calls from Macao, Canberra, Hornsby and Newtown then an afternoon tea with Nerys, Tim, Jack and Charlie... oh and David as well 😊 Then on Monday morning, oh deary deary me I was not in a good place 😢
Delicious scones date and plain with strawberry jam and cream or in my case yoghurt.More lovely flowers.
Then on Monday I spent 6 hours in Emergency at The San, not fun but the problem... which it appears is another drug I'm allergic to... has been solved and I am feeling much better today, not my 100% Ticketyboo self yet but I will get there that's for sure!
Gawrd what an ugly photo... must do better Penniedarling 😊
