Photo a Day Challenge - 17.9.2020 - Zingy.

This is a very Zingy Quilt that I made several years ago when the 'Dear Jane' quilt was what everyone was making, I decided not to follow the original, yes I know that's who I am... and make it smaller and in hand dyed solid fabrics, each of my blocks can be seen below but my blocks above are appliqued not pieced.

I made a Dear Jane too, but didn’t do the border and I had it machine quilted in variegated cotton much to the horror of some purists. But mine is finished, used and loved, unlike many sitting in dark cupboards in a pile of UFOs. It certainly was a huge quilt to make, very fiddly.
