We had dinner with 4/5th of T.E.A.M.G. on Sunday evening... no we didn't fly to Macao, FaceTime is the way to go.
We had lovely long chats with Abi, Tilly and George while Tom was cooking dinner, the iPad was moved around so we could see the dinner cooking, see what Betsy was up to then George took us all around the Apartment showing us special points of interest such as his bed, Tilly's bed, the bathroom and so on.
Then the iPad was moved to one end of the Dining Table while we watched Abi set the table and get the drinks of water for everyone, then the phone rang and it was Emma calling from Beijing.
After the phone call Tom bought the home cooked Spaghetti Carbonara to the table in a great big pot and served it out to three hungry children. We watched and chatted as they all eat their meal, it must have been delicious because they all cleaned their plates. Then there was a discussion about Dessert... the kids won and a delicious looking ice cream was bought to the table and spooned out to one and all.
We were on the iPad's for almost an hour which was wonderful... and it cost us nothing, not a bad price for all that joy :-)

They're HOME!
After seven weeks of tripping around the World visiting lots of wonderful family and friends they flew in yesterday morning, exhausted but glad to be home and looking forward to their own beds.
On Saturday they enjoyed their last day in Hong Kong with F.U.N. (Favourite Uncle Nick) and with T.E.A.M.G. (Tom, Emma, Abi, Tilly and George) who caught the Ferry from Macao.
Firstly they enjoyed a walk up to the Peak.
Then a delicious looking lunch.
It was lovely to see them, hear and see stories... with a lot more to come.
Now Roll on Christmas for when T.E.A.M.G. will be here.

Xenophon in my Ancestry Tree... died aged 6 years.
From the book 'Grandie' by Norman C. Hutchinson (about Grandison Watson from 'Wollogorang'.)
On the morning of Saturday March 8, 1879, while Grandie and his wife and family were staying at 'Yarra Grange', their six year old son, Xenophon, wearing a grey tweed knickerbocker suit, long dark woolen stockings, his favourite soft felt hat, a purple necktie and high lace up boots, set off alone with his fishing rod to the bank of the Yarra River, adjacent to his home. By six o'clock that evening he had not returned and a search was made without success. The police were called and a more thorough search commenced in case the boy had been kidnapped. Grandie placed an advertisement in the Argus for Monday March 10 offering a reward of £10 for the recovery of the boy. On Wednesday afternoon, Xeno's body was found floating near the opposite side of the river, near Studley Park. An inquest held at 'Yarra Grange' the following day found accidental drowing as the cause of death. However well the poor lad had been able to swim was negated by the nature of the heavy winder clothing he wore. Xeno was buried in the Church of England section of the St Kilda Cemetery on March 12, 1879 adjacent to the grave of his baby brother Sydney and his uncle Harry.

INQUEST.
ACCIDENTALLY
DROWNED.
Mr
Candler, the district coroner, held an inquest at Simpson's road on Thursday,
upon the body of the boy Xenophon Watson, who was found drowned in the River Yarra on the previous
day.
William
Watt, wool-washer, deposed that while searching the river on Wednesday
afternoon he found the body of the deceased. It was floating upon the water
near the Simpson's road punt, on the Studley-Park side. The remains had
evidently only just come to the surface, or he should have seen them before, as
he had been looking for them for some days.
George
Stanley, a boy about 13 years of age, deposed that on the afternoon of Saturday
he last saw deceased fishing upon the banks of the River Yarra, near the end of the
Simpson's road. Witness left him there, and did not see him again.
Sydney
G. Watson, father of the deceased, stated that his son was six
years and nine months old. He last saw him alive about 10 o'clock on Saturday
morning last. Deceased was in good health, and was not subject to fits.
About 6 o'clock the same evening deceased was missed, and search was then made
for him, but without effect. His fishing rod was discovered on the river-bank in the vicinity of the
spot at which the witness Stanley stated he left him. In witness's opinion
deceased had fallen into the water accidentally, and there was no reason to suppose
that he had met with foul play.
The jury found a verdict of
" Found drowned," and added a rider to the effect that while there was no
evidence to show how deceased got into the water, in their opinion he was drowned accidentally.---------------

Seven Beautiful Grandchildren.
It was Georgie's 5th Birthday last weekend... with his beautiful sisters.
Georgie with 'The Gang' at his party skate party.
At home with the Birthday Cake.
Still smiling at the end of a long day.
Remy is excited about the postcard from his Godfather Jackson Harry in London.
:-))
Starting driving lessons early... in a Garbage truck!
James is loving his postcards from his cousins Charlie and Jack.
Especially the Double Decker Bus one.
Finishing up with a cuddle with his #7 Doll knitted by Pennie.
And in the UK... Nerys and Tim are off for a night out.
Charlie talking to his very favourite Stoke Football player... Peter Crouch.
A terrific thrill for Jackson when he got to walk out with the players of the Stoke verses Swansea... Stoke won with 2 goals to one.
Jackson with his favourite Stoke player... Mr Bevoic.
... and on the last day in the UK it was a trip to Legoland in Windsor.
Home soon and I just can't wait to hear about their adventures.
