Ten of us enjoyed a real true blue Aussie Christmas yesterday with Sun and 30c, BBQ, Salad, Ice Cream, Cricket and Swimming in the pool, we also enjoyed a couple of long online video chats with our Macao and Canberra and Hong Kong families.

A gift from Briony, Kate and James 💜
A gift from Gwilym who made this wreath himself!  💜

Christmas Cards, we no longer send cards but these lovely people do.
Nerys made the most delicious Salmon Gravlax from a recipe in the Coles Magazine using beetroot - a real winner, David slow smoked a pickled leg of pork on our Kamado and Gwilym made a wonderful salad using some ingredients he'd grown himself, such as the Kale, Herbs and Potatoes, very yum plus his own Sour Dough Bread.
Christmas Lunch outside in the sunshine, just like it should be... (2020 Christmas was cold and raining so inside.)
Pennie and Nerys, we did enjoy a little breeze from a couple of fans.
Nerys and Charlie.
Charlie, Tim and Jackson - same again below with David.

Gwilym and Elodie - below Elodie with Emily.

After lunch we did our Secret Santa which was just brilliant this year, just one $50 gift per person no matter the age and we were allowed to wish for our gift, nobody had any idea who they would be giving to until a couple of weeks before Christmas Day and nobody knew who was Gifting for them until the big Day!

After lunch we gifted one by one which was exciting plus we were able to have a good look at each others pressies before the next one was opened... Everybody was absolutely delighted with their gifts.

I requested a Christmas Bush plant or something similar... and Wow!   Below is what I received from Charlie.

Charlie is very happy with one of his gifts with this new TShirt.

Dessert was Vanilla, Mango and Raspberry Ice Cream with Berries and Toffee Shards.

The Party is almost over...

Bowie can hear and see his family in the pool and is very keen to watch out for them... which he did and also enjoyed a swim himself.

Below - Emily taking a little rest, she broke her ankle a couple of days ago and she has a long way to go before it will heal, good luck Em.
