We remember them, not just today but through the year as well, what brave young people they were.
1. Alex Long, Tremayne Rodd, Frank Amphlett, Millicent Armstrong.
2. Harold Bishop, Raymond Bishop, Harrie Cobcroft, Alex Griffiths.
3. Edward Griffiths, Robert Griffiths, Jim Hogarth, Alex Long.
4. Brent Rodd, Clements Rodd, Ella Rodd, Tom Atkins.
5. John Evans, Keith Evans, Mervyn Griffiths, David Quiddington.
6. Ripley Rodd, Rosie Cobcroft, Clements Rodd, Tony Cobcroft.
Three of these young people died overseas while in battle, two committed suicide many years after their return home, two served in two wars and 17 lived happy lives bringing up families.
We never forget their courage and love for their country as well as for their families.
I knitted this ANZAC Poppy for myself using one of my Dad's Army buttons and I wear it with pride!
