Last Sunday we enjoyed a little jaunt down south to Exeter to meet up with a couple of my cousins.
We were meeting up half way between Sydney and Canberra, my cousins were interested to bid on a few things at the home on John Hewson, a one time pollie who with his third wife are selling up all his goods and chattels and his home. David and I weren't interested in any of the items but we were keen to enjoy a few hours and lunch with Simon and Megan and families.
I did take a liking to a few things but of course don't need them...
This is part of a very large wall hanging and below a framed elephant.
I did like this little girl and her dog statue as well... and of course we all loved the 1912 Star motor car.
I wasn't impressed with the 1936 mock Tudor home, too bitty-bitty for me but the surrounding land is beautiful as is the whole area of Exeter and Bundannoon so if you are looking for a new home and willing to spend more than six million dollars... have a look here... John Hewson Home.
Simon was able to buy something he really liked and doesn't it look terrific in his garden!
