Penniedarling

We know Billy has been around for some time but he likes to keep a very low profile so we only ever get the odd glimpse but today he was sunning himself just where I was watering the garden so here he is.  Have you ever actually seen the colour blue of a Blue Tongue?  Brilliant it is!  Wonderful.

So we've had Milly the Water Dragon for several years,  Molly the dog next door for a couple of years and Mandy the Kookaburra for about 9 months... and now we have Billy the Blue Tongue Lizard.

I've called him Billy because we have Milly Molly and Mandy... Billy Blunt is Milly Molly Mandy's friend in the books  :-)  she has another friend called Little-friend-Susan but that would be just too confusing wouldn't it!

Actually talking about Milly!  She's been naughty, she climbs up onto the Pergola around the flowering Wisteria and is catching and eating the bees that are enjoying all the flowers!
We need the bees Milly... do no eat!  they can't be good for you can they?
