Christmas Day started off with a minor disaster!
Poor Santa tried to come down the wrong chimney, this is the Combustion Stove Santa, you can't get down here. See what happened, he knocked over our beautiful Christmas tree... Hey Santa! Why didn't you put it back up?
Don't worry everybody, Santa did eventually find the correct fireplace! Actually he should have known this... he's come down this very same Chimney for 34 years! Mmmm... I wonder what his last drop off left him as a snack!
Lots of lovely Santa pressies for four of our beautiful Grandchildren... the other three Grandchildren were lucky to have Santa find their homes.
Yay!
Family are all here now, I'm pooped so I give Jackson my camera.
Wow! What a cool teenager!
Table all set and waiting for the food.
James William couldn't wait for the Christmas food, he preferred his usual meal.
Some Cricket up on the Tennis Court with a Reindeer Photo Bomber!
Thank you Jackson, some lovely photos here!
James William has learned about Christmas wrapping, here he is trying to wrap his bottle :-)
Cheers Everybody! What a Christmas Feast...
Starters - Cheeses and Bisc, Homemade Gravlax on Blini and homemade Vegemite & Cheese Crisps.
Mains - Prawns, Oysters, Slow smoked on the BBQ's, one Turkey and one enormous Leg of Pickled Pork both of which turn into the most succulent of meats! Salads of Watermelon and Halloumi, Orange and Avocado, Green Salad and New Potato Salad. Sweets - the most delicious Ice Cream Bomb thingy made by Nerys. Wow... no wonder no body wanted an evening meal... we were all still full.
Jackson bought his father a Batman Stubby Holder for Christmas. How do we look eh?
Coooollll!
Before Sweets we were lucky to have Abigail Rose organize us into teams for another of her brilliant Scavenger Hunts! So off everybody raced with their mobile devices taking selfies of themselves when they found the 15 hidden Christmas Decorations all around the downstairs and the garden! The neighbours must have wondered what all the loud laughing was about.
And of course the pool got a good work out but first of all I wanted a big group family photo!
Gosh they're naughty aren't they!!!!!
Come on everybody... looking this way please!
Almost there...
Hurray! We did it... oh and BTW we enjoyed the company of Joao today, he's a friend of Tom and Emma's from Portugal/Macau and is in Australia to crew on one of the yacht's racing today in the Sydney to Hobart! Good Luck Joao!
Oh and I nearly forgot... with a lot of help from a lot of family our beautiful Christmas Tree went back up! Hurray.
That's all for now, I have many many more photos which I may put up later... I hope you all enjoyed your Christmas holiday... we'll still be enjoying for several days yet! Hurray!
