My Grandfather, Clements Ripley, sat in this Bentwood High Chair as did his 4 siblings, that was in the late 1880's.

Then... my father, Ripley Clements, sat in this same chair as did his siblings in the early 1900's.

Then... I sat in this chair, as did my siblings in the mid 1900's.

Then... my four beautiful children sat in this chair in the late 1900's.

Then... this beautiful old chair was restored as best as it could be, unfortunately the holes the rattan seating was supposed to go through were far too gone, hence the plain seat.  The tray had long gone as well.

Then... in the early 2000's some of my Grandchildren have sat in this high chair.

Wow!  That's five Generations :-)

Here is a chair similar, ours would have looked like this when new.
